Buyboat Deckhand

Danny Parks, a deckhand on buyboat Delvin K, unloads wild oysters from the workboats of the island’s watermen. After loading up the deck of Delvin K  with the day’s catch of oysters, the buyboat hauls the oysters to Reedville, Va., where they are sold to a shucking house for processing.
